Sarafa Vidya Niketan Indore Celebrates 50th Foundation Day with Science Exhibition and Cultural Events

Sarafa Vidya Niketan, Indore marked its 50th foundation day with an oath-taking ceremony for house leaders, science exhibition, cultural performances, plantation drive, and prize distribution. Trustees, alumni, and staff participated in the celebrations.

Sarafa Vidya Niketan, Indore celebrated its 50th foundation day, commemorating five decades since the school began operations in 1976. The event was held at the main campus, with trustees, committee members, alumni, and staff in attendance. Founded in 1976, the institution expanded with its second branch in 1996 and a third in 2016. During the event, a presentation highlighted key milestones and achievements over the years. The school principal, Alok Dave, opened the programme with a welcome address. He introduced the newly appointed house leaders, who took an oath of office during the ceremony. The school organised a science exhibition, cultural performances including Kathak dance, and a song presentation. A plantation drive was carried out by alumni on the school premises. A prize distribution was also held for winners of an essay competition open to both students and parents. The management committee present at the event included president Mahendra Patidar, secretary Pramod Nagar, coordinators Gopal Nema and Natwarlal Johri, treasurer Rajesh Kothana, trustee Satish Nema, and members including Sushil Gupta and Ashok Sharma. Committee members interacted with students at the science exhibition and conveyed their best wishes for future academic endeavours. The event was coordinated and concluded with a vote of thanks by Sunayana Sharma, Bharti Joshi, and Chanchal Garod.
