Betma School Passes Leadership Baton in Annual Investiture Ceremony
Delhi World Public School, Betma, conducted its Annual Investiture Ceremony on July 12, 2025, formally inducting student leaders into the school council. The event highlighted discipline and responsibility as core aspects of leadership development.
The ceremony opened with Saraswati Vandana, followed by a welcome dance performed by students. Vijay Khurana, educationist and youth development advocate, was the chief guest. Director Krish Khurana and principal Arthur Brown were also present.
The newly elected student council participated in a march past accompanied by the school band. The badge pinning ceremony followed, during which dignitaries presented badges to the council members. Principal Brown administered the oath of office, where students pledged to fulfil their duties with sincerity and integrity.
Addressing the audience, Vijay Khurana stressed the importance of student leadership in nation-building. He commended the school’s role in fostering qualities such as compassion, discipline, and teamwork.
A school choir performance of a “Congratulations Song” celebrated the new leaders. School coordinator Arva Shakir delivered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the support of the school management and parents.
The event concluded with the National Anthem, evoking unity and patriotism among attendees.
The investiture ceremony served as a platform to promote accountability and leadership, reaffirming the school’s commitment to shaping future citizens.
