The event, held at the school campus, was attended by G Ramesh, trustee of SICA Educational Trust, and Rishita Sharma, a prominent chef and SICA alumni. The ceremony featured cultural performances and speeches focusing on leadership qualities and social responsibility. Newly elected head boy Aryan Sharma and head girl Anushka Dhangar, along with other council members, took an oath of responsibility for the upcoming session. The event highlighted the significance of leadership in school governance and the role of students in shaping the institution’s future.

SICA 54 recently held the investiture ceremony for the newly elected council members for the 2025-26 session. The event was graced by G Ramesh, trustee of SICA Educational Trust, who was the chief guest, and Rishita Sharma, a renowned chef and SICA alumni, as the special guest.
The ceremony began with the chanting of shlokas from the Bhagavad Gita, setting a solemn tone for the occasion. The students presented a mime performance, which conveyed a message of social awareness against the excessive use of mobile phones. All performances aligned with the theme of the day, 'Abhyudaya – Empower Yourself.'
During his address, G Ramesh emphasised the importance of the school cabinet and highlighted key leadership qualities. He administered the oath to the newly elected council members, underlining the significance of responsible leadership in shaping the school’s future.
Rishita Sharma also spoke to the students, encouraging them to develop strong willpower, which, she noted, is a vital trait for effective leadership. She extended her best wishes to the council members, stressing the importance of perseverance in their roles.
The new head boy and head girl for the senior wing, Aryan Sharma and Anushka Dhangar, were elected, while Angad Bawankar and Jivika Sinha will assume these positions in the primary wing. Anamika Sinha, council co-convenor, urged the students to bring fresh ideas to the council and to elevate its role within the school.
The members of the SICA management, including Murugan R. and Srividhya K., were present, along with Pawan Lathi, PTA president, and Sima Mohapatra, PTA vice president. The event was conducted by Yojna Jain, with the vote of thanks proposed by convenor Pragati Joshi.
The ceremony concluded with a sense of excitement and commitment among the newly elected council members, who expressed their determination to take the school to greater heights.
