Janak Didi will celebrate her 78th birthday by planting 78 Belpatra trees on Dutani Hill

Dedicated to the love of nature and environmental protection, the Jimmy and Janak McGilligan Foundation for Sustainable Development is organizing a special tree plantation program on Monday, February 16, 2026, to mark Janak Palta McGilligan Didi's 78th birthday. Like many years ,she has always been planting trees equal to her age on her birthday to thank God and Mother Nature for her meaningful, purposeful, and fruitful life .
Planting Program: Plantation of 78 Belpatra trees to celebrate Dr Mrs Janak Palta McGilligan 's 78th birthday will be done on Monday, February 16, 2026 , beginning with prayer at 9:00 a.m. on Dutani Hill, behind the her residence, "Giridarshan," in Sanawadiya. Indore Division's Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF) Mr. P.N. Mishra, DFO Mr. Lal Sudhakar, Indore Ranger Mrs. Sangeeta, Founder of Indore's Green Army -, Green Hero Ambrish Kela, former Airport Director Mrs. Aryama Sanyal, and all the dear ones present, will plant 78 Belpatra trees. Janak Didi says that this is giving gratitude to God to for her husband, late Mr. Jimmy McGilligan and herself have been blessed to have served as Baha'i pioneers, Indore, the city of Devi Ahilya and we are indebted to this land and now specially being resident of Sanawadiya village since 2011, this is a humble gratitude. All nature lovers are warmly welcomed to join us to participate in this noble cause.
Plantation site: Proceed 400 to 500 meters straight on Malhar Cold Storage Road in Sanawadiya. From there, turn left toward Bhandari Krishi Farm Kindly Park outside Manavta Clinic near Bhandari Bhandari Farm.
