We tell success stories to children but failure stories should also be told | Indore

A school hall was filled with children, parents, teachers and grandparents . The occasion was the graduation ceremony and grandparents meet of Vidyasagar School where psychiatrist Dr. Pawan Rathi addressed everyone Discussed. School Principal Bhawana Pujari was present on this event.
Psychiatrist Dr. Pawan Rathi told that just as we give mantras of success to our children, we should also teach them to accept failure. We tell success stories to children but failure stories should also be told.
Tell them that failure means that you have tried, means , you have courage and the ability to take risks.
Today everyone is not the same, nor does every child have the same thinking, so do not compare children. Every child has his own abilities and strengths, we should recognize them and teach them that exams are just a stage in our life. Failure definitely disappoints us, but we should also learn a lesson from it so that we do not repeat our mistakes in future.
Parents should understand that they should not make comparisons among children even at home, it creates an unhealthy competition and apart from exams it also becomes dangerous for relationships in the long run. Parents should understand that the examination is not a proof of their children's hard work throughout the year and they have to explain this to their children.
If we see some changes in the child's nature or some active child does something that he should not do or he remains calm and there are changes in his daily routine, then we should understand that the child is troubled by something and we should find him peacefully and give him the solution. This has to be done otherwise the child may go into depression a d do not ignore the child's sadness. Childhood depression is different from the normal and everyday emotions that occur as a child develops. Just because a child seems sad does not necessarily mean he has significant depression. If the sadness is persistent, or interferes with normal social activities, interests, schoolwork, or family life, it may indicate that the person has depression. Keep in mind that depression is a serious disease
