Vishu marks grand finale of eight-day Prana Pratishtha celebrations at Mahalaxmi Nagar Ayyappa–Ganesh Temple
The sounds of bells, chants, and evening cultural performances filled the air at Mahalaxmi Nagar as the eight-day observance marking the 34th Prana Pratishtha anniversary at the Lord Ayyappa and Ganesh Temple came to a close on Wednesday. The celebrations concluded on an auspicious note, coinciding with Vishu, bringing together devotion, tradition and community participation.
From April 8 onwards, the temple complex remained at the centre of continuous religious activity, with daily poojas performed by priests brought from Kerala. Following established traditions, rituals were conducted every morning and extended through the day, with specific ceremonies scheduled as part of the anniversary programme.
