The last date to apply for the Prime Minister Internship Scheme has been extended to March 31, 2025. This initiative aims to provide young individuals across India the opportunity to intern with the country's top 500 companies. Through this scheme, participants will gain hands-on experience in real business environments and learn essential skills over a 12-month period. The list of these top companies is available on the official PM Internship Scheme portal.
Eligible candidates between the ages of 21 to 24 who are not engaged in full-time employment or education can apply. Applicants who have completed their high school, higher secondary school, ITI, Polytechnic diploma, or are graduates are eligible for this opportunity. The internship will last for 12 months, during which interns will receive a stipend of ₹5,000 per month. Additionally, the internship includes a life insurance cover under the Prime Minister's Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana. Upon joining the internship, interns will receive a one-time grant of ₹6,000 from the Government of India.
Applications for this scheme can be submitted through the Ministry of Corporate Affairs portal at https://pminternship.mca.gov.in. The application deadline has been extended to March 31, 2025, providing a final chance for eligible candidates to apply.
