In a historic move, the Madhya Pradesh government has passed the largest-ever development budget of Rs. 4.21 lakh crore, a significant milestone in the state’s journey toward comprehensive growth. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, during his visit to Indore, addressed the media at the airport, shedding light on the state’s commitment to achieving new developmental heights while preserving the essence of its rich heritage.

Historic Budget Passage and Development Goals

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed his pride in the state’s progress as the budget, which is the largest in the state’s history, was passed in the state assembly. This budget, amounting to a staggering Rs. 4.21 lakh crore, sets the foundation for implementing numerous welfare schemes and development projects across Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister assured that ministers, along with Members of Parliament (MPs) and Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), will lead the celebrations, making it a joyous occasion for all citizens of the state.

Ujjain’s Time Calculation Center: A Nod to Ancient Indian Sciences

Highlighting the state’s focus on preserving ancient traditions, CM Dr. Yadav mentioned the establishment of a time calculation center in Ujjain, the city known as Avantika in ancient texts. The center, which will focus on accurate timekeeping for festivals, is a tribute to India’s ancient mathematical principles. "Our festivals are calculated based on precise scientific methods to ensure their sanctity," said Dr. Yadav.

The time calculation center in Ujjain is part of the state’s broader effort to stay true to traditional systems while embracing modern development.
