Madhya Pradesh News: New academic school session 2026-2027 begins in Indore

The new academic session commenced across Indore district on Wednesday with a warm and enthusiastic welcome for students in schools. Newly admitted and existing students were greeted with traditional tilak ceremonies and flower showers, creating a festive atmosphere on campus.

On the occasion, students were also provided with textbooks and essential educational materials, including school bags, tiffins, and water bottles.

The main district-level event under the “School Chale Hum” campaign was organized as an admission festival at Sandipani Naveen Malwa Girls Higher Secondary School in Mhow Naka. The program was held in the presence of Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat, who attended as the chief guest.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav joined the कार्यक्रम virtually from Bhopal and addressed students and officials, highlighting the objectives of the campaign and the state’s commitment to strengthening the education sector.

Among those present at the event were MLA Malini Laxman Singh Gaur, Collector Shivam Verma, CEO Siddharth Jain, and District Education Officer Dr. Shanta Bhargava Swami, along with other public representatives and officials.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Silawat emphasized that education is the foundation of positive societal change and encouraged students to attend school regularly to secure a bright future. He also noted that recent reforms in the education sector under Prime Minister Narendra Modi have brought significant transformation.

MLA Gaur highlighted the state government’s focus on improving education quality through innovation and modern technology, stating that these efforts will help students achieve better opportunities and contribute to nation-building.

District Education Officer Dr. Swami informed that the “School Chale Hum” campaign will be conducted from April 1 to April 4, aiming to maximize student enrollment across the district.
